UNS (UNIFIED SPECIAL THREAD)
UNS (Unified National Special) is a custom thread standard used when standard UNC, UNF, or UNEF thread sizes do not meet specific application requirements. UNS threads follow the Unified Thread Standard (UTS) but have non-standard pitches or diameters tailored for unique engineering needs.
